Vehicle Description 1978 Pontiac Formula Firebird powered by a LS Motor with a four-speed automatic transmission.
This car has been a north Texas car it's whole life a frame off restoration was done a few years ago here are some of the details.
Powder coated frame four-wheel power disc brakes reinforced frame rail connectors, posi rear end with 19-inch aftermarket wheels.
All new Dual exhaust system.
The U87 code Formula was the least produced firebird model in 1978 although it had a heavy-duty suspension like the Trans Am model a move came out that year and made the black and gold cars very popular so in this case a formula is a rare bird in 78.
Just like the car that Bandit drove back in the day this one has a LS V8 power plant.
The aluminum head and block are not stock but not so wild you can't drive it on the road and yes it has AC for those hot days of summer.
(Will need ac lines connected) Heavy duty cooling system with dual fans.
Headers and custom pipes.
The paint is super nice and a unique color.
This is a T-Top car the doors have all new weather stripping.
At the time of photos new door panels and glass trim are on the way.
The reason i shot the photos before instlation is to show no rust on this bird.
