Clerk

Working under the general supervision of the shipping and receiving supervisor, following specific procedures, performs a variety of duties to accomplish the shipment of all finished goods and the receipt of all purchased materials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform the primary thinking encompassed by this job description.
Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Safely and efficiently receive purchased materials.
Answer Phones
Greet visitors
Receive and sign for incoming freight
Check shipping write up's
Check trucks in and out
Keep log up for loaders
Keep daily log on shipping rates
Enter Shipping information on BOL's PGI shipments
Verify product on tuck and take pictures if Supervisor is gone
Daily billing
Balance totals to Bill edit List
Prepare daily ship log to send out to CSR and AP
Match up signed bol's when invoices are received
Scan copies of daily bol's to Customer Service Representatives
Help with monthly Inventory
Maintain files customer, production, misc
Related shipping and receiving documents.
Assist fellow employees as necessary.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Plant Manager
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 5
years' experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Frequent exposure, 20-50% of work time (noise, cold, heat, dust) or hazardous conditions.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
